To create this print, Julien Jaca took inspiration from his iconic series of pot paintings, developed between 2021 and 2023. With the idea of a more radical painting style, free from any precision, calculation, or preliminary sketch, he uses paint for what it truly is: pigment on a flat surface. The addition of flowers to the pot is a logical and natural evolution.

Created in the first half of 2024, this small oil painting on paper, designed using the monotype technique, brings about the surprise of the result. It leads Jaca to his current work of giant flowers painting on canvas, bordering on abstraction and striving to reach pure freedom.
This print has undoubtedly been the bridge between his previous and current painting work.
